COP Program

The COP program, a recycle, reuse, recreate program, that combines a hands-on workshop, lecture and blog for the transformation of rejected, reused, and recycled items, which will lead to a discussion on climate change and its causes. This workshop gives student the opportunity to focus on the environment.

To support the actions of the 20th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 20) I developed an international workshop called the Citizen Workshop with art, lectures, discussions and blog for students globally. The program has to be continued with the COP 21, coming December 2015 in Paris.  The program will connect students from the United States, Peru and the Maldives.

The workshops are going to be a meditative and creative way to think about the environment. This will give the opportunity to students to express themselves through blogging, art and lectures. My hope is to open the mind of students and I  believe that great discoveries and constuctive ideas to stop or slow climate change could come from their creativity and exchange.

The urgency for an environmental program like this one worldwide is vital for our planet and future generation survival. Students will have a space that allows their creativity to focus and evolve on this subject.
