See some of the 20 students and their project in the COP program from Arequipa, Peru. The students belong to the English Access Microscholarship Program who will be blogging their thoughts, ideas, projects, pictures with student from Daniel Webster Magnet school in New York and Alliance Francaise in Males (Maldives).
The student in Peru all study English at Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano, a binational center in Arequipa, which has the support of the American Embassy in Peru. They created recycled paper baskets, bags and an alpaca which was displayed in the binational center patio. In addition, they created recycling projects in order to celebrate Earth Day. In order to teach their relative the importance of recycling and reusing items, they also conduct small projects at home.
