Beijing, China -- first red alert on smog levels that surpassed 500 issuing a locked down for the next three days. School closing, construction work put on hold, traffic in the capital stopped. This is the highest warning level for pollutions in Beijing. Beijing, a city of 20 million plus people were indoors because of air pollution. This is an urban nightmare due to China's coal-burning economy that's choking their people. This red alert will raise questions at the COP21 conference in Paris to China and the rest of the world on how to clean up the environment.
