Caterpillar Eat Plastic

Scientist in Europe have make a breakthrough discovery, that the wax worm caterpillar can eat plastic. By accident, Federica Bertocchini a scientist and amateur beekeeper was cleaning out her beehive when she placed some wax worms caterpillar in plastic bag, when she checked them several days later she noticed the plastic bags had chewed hole in them resulting from the worms eating the plastic bag. The worm digestive system breaks up the chemical bonds of polyethylene and makes the insects a powerful tool against the seemingly unending flood of plastic waste around the globe. Scientist are still studying their result and how it might be able to solve the problem of plastic pollution.
